The Madurai Rifle Club (MRC) is a shooting sport development organization affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Shooting Association (TNSA), Chennai, which is affiliated to the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), New Delhi. The MRC strives to promote shooting sport among the people living in Madurai District and identify talented young shooters to prepare them for the state, national and international level shooting competitions. MRC is home to many young and outstanding shooting sportspersons who are members of the Indian squad.

MISSION
- To promote shooting as a peaceful sport among the youth in Madurai District.
- To identify shooting potential among the youth by conducting summer shooting camps.
- To offer the best possible coaching to the young shooters to prepare them for national and international level shooting competitions.
- To offer a platform to shooting enthusiasts of all age in Madurai District to hone their shooting skills and participate in shooting competitions.
